“Into The Fire” Debuts in Whistler BC

Despite some last minute changes, portions of our 2012 themed presentation of “Into the Fire” were performed this weekend for one of our newest Australian clients, at their corporate event in Whistler, British Columbia. Designed by company President, Brenda Hann and choreographed by 10 time Canadian medallist, World and Olympic competitor Aaron Lowe and Megan Wing, “Into the FIre” is a contemporary ice dance performance and interpretation of the traditional ‘fire & ice’ themes featuring skating couples, small ensembles and interactive numbers. Inspired by the ‘Tango’ and set against a snow white decor and background of firery orange/red and cool blue lighting, “Into the Fire” portrays the passion and conflict when two people from different worlds collide and fall in love.

The evening’s cast included Canadian national competitors, Troy Shindle, Larissa Vanas, Kathryn Kang, Tarrah Harvey as well as Aaron who lent his talents to the production. Feedback from the client was that the skaters were inspiring and the whole presentation was simply breathtaking. We look forward to working with our Canadian cast again soon as we continue to field interest from new clients seeking our unique brand of quality entertainment.

BH Skating plans to feature “Into the Fire” at several upcoming trade show events and festivals in the coming year, and plans are underway to bring the show to a variety of dinner theater locations in the metro Phoenix AZ region.
